‘Plan B’ Christmas Event Update (9th December 2021)

Following the announcement of ‘Plan B’ covid restrictions an assessment has been made of the implications for our Hall Community Christmas event (official guidance on face coverings is available here). In sum: Christmas is not cancelled! As we will be serving food and drink – and tables and chairs will be set out for their consumption – the hall will be a cafe/hospitality venue for Sunday’s event; given this, the wearing of face-coverings in the hall on Sunday is not required by law. Of course, individuals who attend may choose to wear coverings; some may choose not to attend the event – we still (just about) live in a country where people can make their own informed choices regarding the risks that they encounter in their lives.
